Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information (your name and email), and the content you create — resumes, certifications, and application data. We also collect basic usage and device information needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it

To provide and improve TheField: storing your documents, authenticating you, generating PDF exports, and powering features you choose to use. We don't sell your personal data.

3. Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate TheField:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Anthropic — powers the AI job scanner; the resume and job-description text you scan are sent to Anthropic to generate the analysis.
• Vercel — hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro (when enabled).

4. Data security

Your data is protected with row-level security so you can only access your own records, and is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Your rights

You can view, edit, export, or delete your content at any time from within the app. To delete your account entirely or request a copy of your data, contact us.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete content or your account, it's removed from our active systems.
